The Dagger Stratos 12.5 Kayaks are one of a new breed of compact touring kayaks. Shorter than a traditional sea kayak or touring boat the kayak feels reassuringly stable and easy to manoeuvre for a newer paddler.  In the hands of a more experienced paddler the Stratos 12.5 is also a blast in the surf and ideal for slashing through rock gardens. The pronounced rocker line and lower rear deck give a dynamic shape for paddling in waves and swell and surprisingly for a shorter kayak it is not unreasonable for a fairly fit person to expect to be able to cover 15 miles. In the hands of an experienced paddler this kayak can be great fun on gentle white water too!

The twin hatch set up with safety bulkheads allows plenty of storage space for a long weekend afloat and the Stratos 12.5 is also ideal for touring rivers, lakes and coastal waters.

The Contour Seating System provides adjustable thigh braces and slide lock foot rests to ensure great connectivity with the kayak. Two size options are availalbe, the 12.5 S for smaller paddlers and the 12.5 L suits heavier paddlers and with a slightly higher foredeck is ideal for those with longer legs.
