The FeelFree Nomad Sport is one of the most popular sit-on-tops on the market. Its design includes integrated side handles, an easily accessible centre hatch & paddle keep.

The Nomad Sport can also be retro fitted with 2 x flush rod holders for those looking to fish. They hold rods pointing to the rear and slightly to each side so you can troll a lure as you paddle. You could use them just to carry rods to a likely fishing spot then reach round and fish from the cockpit.  A large rear storage well provides ample room for carrying trolleys, a dry bag, equipment, or lunch for the day.

The Nomad Sport performs admirably as a good all round sit-on-top for those looking to surf or explore, and can be used to paddle in calmer water conditions. Optional thigh straps enhance your control over the kayak and are a great addition if you want to play in small surf. All in all the Nomad Sport sizes up to be an excellent choice as an all round sit-on-top. Available as kayak only or in either of the packages shown below.

Standard Package: This includes a light-weight seat and an alloy shaft paddle with nylon reinforced touring style blades. The seat has a lower back than the deluxe package, we recommend this seat if you are buying a kayak for a younger child.

Deluxe Package: The deluxe seat has a firmer backrest that is higher and curves round the paddler's back so providing more support and connection to the kayak. The deluxe paddle is of the same design as the standard paddle however has a fibreglass shaft which is lighter and significantly warmer in the hand on colder days.

Nomad Sport - With Wheel in the Keel: The wheel in the keel version of the Nomad Sport has a different hull moulding to the standard model - the wheel in the keel can not be retrofitted. Wheel in the keel kayaks are available with both standard and deluxe packages and in additional colours.  The wheel is designed for use on hard surfaces and makes moving the Nomad Sport on slipways and from the garage to the driveway easier. The wheel isn't designed for use on rough ground or sand, you will have to carry the kayak or use a trolley instead. In order to prolong the life of the wheel's axle you will need to occasionally wash off dirt and salt water.

Accessory mounting plates
The Nomad has 2 recessed areas for fitting accessories such as flush mounted rod holders, a camera boom or a safety pennant flag. These rectangular recesses are located either side just behind the seat. Feelfree Flush Mount Rod Holders are available to buy separately and can easily be fitted by anyone with DIY skills. They are ideal for carrying your rods out to a likely fishing spot or you could even troll a lure as you paddle! 

Optional accessories include thigh straps for additional control in the surf, a removable skeg and scupper bungs.
