What are Split Paddles?

Split paddles break down into 2, 3 or sometimes 4 parts allowing them to be easily transported in the boot of a car or stowed in or on your kayak as a spare. Paddlers using inflatable kayaks generally prefer this type of paddle as they are compact to transport and store with the kayak.

A strong robust paddle that's suitable for day touring with Sit On Tops, Touring Kayaks and Inflatable Canoes. The alloy shaft uses a simple push button spigot to seperate the paddle into 2 pieces. The blades are assymetric in shape for extra efficiency over the older style square blade.
