Horizon Touring Kayak by Perception The Perception Horizon is a versatile stable two person tandem kayak for short trips or multi-day expeditions on lakes, rivers, estuaries and the Sea. As with all Perceptions touring kayaks, the emphasis is on user friendly handling in combination with high performance. Perception have paid particular attention with the Horizon to paddler comfort, with roomy cockpits and confidence inspiring stability. For the dry ride, even choppy water, the high volume bow rides over waves deflecting spray away from the cockpit areas. A long waterline gives the Horizon excellent directional stability but is still nimble enough for inland trips around backwater creeks. Horizon Expedition spec gives ample storage in the front & rear compartments for day, overnight or longer trips.
