Perception Kiwi 3 Touring Kayaks The second model in Perceptions open cockpit double range is the kiwi 3. Being slightly longer and a little narrower than the Kiwi 2 makes the Kiwi 3 faster and straight tracking. The increase in speed is small but if you are inclined to paddle further the benefit is worthwhile. Like the Kiwi 2 the front seat can be positioned in the centre of the kayak for solo paddling. With the option of fitting a child's seat that fits between the two main seats the Kiwi 3 can take three paddlers. The child's seat is for smaller children as you can imagine the tangle of heads and paddles if a taller child was to use the seat.
