This latest edition of the Carolina from Perception. The Carolina combines the best features of a touring kayak with the ultimate comfort of a fully adjustable backrest system and padded seat. The new backrest system can be tightened and loosened via a ratchet system whilst sitting in the boat. The height of the backrest can also be adjusted to find the perfect position for the individual paddler. These features make it the ideal choice for those suffering with bad backs. The Carolina is made up of Vacuum moulded seats, adjustable thigh braces, 2 hatches, 2 bulkheads and adjustable foot stops to name just a few features. The hulls are wider and stable with large cockpits for easy entry and exit.

The Carolina 12 is a good choice for those looking for a smaller day touring boat that still offers ample room for kit and the paddler themselves. It's smaller length is well suited to tackling smaller narrow rivers whilst still offering good performance on open water and the sea. At 12 feet it can also be easily car topped and take up less room than similar touring kayaks when trying to find somewhere to store.
