Perception Sierra a Special kayakPerception Sierra Touring Kayak Few kayaks can perform as many roles as the Perception Sierra. This kayak is known as the "mother and baby kayak" the "dad and lad kayak" a "touring kayak" and a "fishing kayak", the cockpit design makes all these things possible. The picture shows the Sierra in Mother and baby form, there is sufficient room in the cockpit for both and the junior paddler is sitting on an optional baby seat that slots into the main seat. Take the baby and seat out and the Sierra is a comfortable touring kayak for adults or a useful fishing kayak. We have customers who replace the baby with a bucket of live sandeels and are successful inshore bass anglers, the long cockpit allows the rod to be placed in front of the paddler.
