Palm Spraydeck Sizing Chart

For whitewater or surf we recommend a neoprene spraydeck. For recreational and light touring an adjustable nylon spraydeck will normally be adequate. Sea kayaking and longer touring we recommend combi-decks consisiting of a neoprene deck for shedding water but a comfortable material waist tube.

For new or experienced kayaks we recommend the use of a nylon spraydeck. Once you are confident removing your spraydeck when capsized you may consider upgrading to a neoprene or combi spraydeck.

In order to form a better seal between the spraydeck and the kayaks some decks have a latex coating on the underside. This reduces the amount of water likely to enter the kayak, however, the spraydeck more difficult to get on and off your kayak.
