The Valley Sirona RM is aimed at paddlers who are progressing into sea kayaking or those who want a do-it-all sea kayak for day trips, weekend expeditions and ocean play. The RM version features all the same design features found in the composite Sirona but in a more durable and impact resistant triple-layer polyethylene shell.

The rockered hull provides excellent manoeuvrability and at 16 foot long it also has a fairly long waterline, great straight line tracking characteristics and is quite efficient on the water. It responds well to edging and the drop-down skeg will enhance performance in windier and choppier conditions. It is one of the quickest 16ft RM sea kayaks on the market and will easily keep up with longer kayaks in a group paddle. Taken as a whole this is a great kayak profile for confidence inspiring skills progression. 

There is a small hatch mounted in front of the cockpit for storing snacks and small items you need ready access to. Just behind the cockpit there is a mid-sized hatch providing access to the smaller of the stern storage compartments. A larger oval hatch further back providing access to the stern compartment where you could store a trolley such as the C-Tug. The bow hatch is circular and provides access to a large sealed compartment. There is plenty of space to load up enough kit for a weekend away or even a longer expedition.
