Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100
Small & Compact Sit On Top Kayak
The Wilderness Systems Tarpon 100 is the smallest Sit On Top in the popular Tarpon range. It's great fun for adults and the kids to paddle on flat water and in the surf. The hull shape offers plenty of stability so it won't by too tippy for novices. If kayak fishing is on your wish list then you can fit a Scotty fishing rod holder to the side rails at the rear and front of the kayak. This system doesn't require any holes to be drilled into your kayak, see below for further info and pricing details. The build quality and outfitting of the Tarpon 100 is superb and the Phase 3 Seat System provides maximum comfort. Other great features include adjustable footrests, 2 hatches and plenty of useful deck bungees and pockets. The compact size of the Tarpon 100 makes its one of the easiest kayaks to car top on a standard car roofrack. The Tarpon 100 is small enough to fit in the back of many vans. Mounting a Fishing Rod Holder Onto the Tarpon 100 SlideTrax System |
| The side rails fitted to the Tarpon 100 Sit On Tops make it very easy to attach fishing rod holders without the need to drill a single hole in your kayak. The rod holder can be moved along the rail system to the desired position. We recommend using the Rodmaster 2 rod holder as it stops your fishing rod butt from obstructing the cockpit area, other Scotty rod holders will fit the fixing plate if you prefer. |
