The Hobie Revolution 16 is the fastest solo kayak in the Mirage Drive Range. It has the ability to cover large distances effectively whilst offering the relaxing comfortable seating position offered by the Vantage CT seat.

It's long, sleek hull paddles just as well as it pedals. At 16ft long, the Revo 16 is at home in everything from calmer waters all the way up to rough big sea conditions. Many UK kayak anglers are now turning to the Revo 16 as their kayak of choice for saltwater fishing as it has the performance and capability to take you further and also efficiently travel through rougher conditions where other kayaks may struggle.

The fingertip steering of the twist-n-stow rudder system offers the user hands free travelling, ideal for fishing or bird watching. The fully adjustable Vantage CT seat keeps you comfortable for long sessions on the water, and includes Boa® System Lumbar Support. The Revo 16 is propelled through the water using the all-new revolutionary Mirage Drive 180 system - full power pedal drive in forwards... and reverse! Switching between forwards and reverse is as simple and easy as pulling a toggle on the drive system. The drive system features 'Glide Technology' with roller bearings found on the major pivoting components of the drive, for a smoother and easier pedalling experience.

The Revo 16 also comes fitted with the Lowrance-Ready system. The Lowrance ready system makes fish finder installation easy using a large transducer scupper under the kayak and a system of deck seals for waterproof cable routing. Two 8 inch Twist-Lock hatches feature at the stern and just forwards of the seat allowing for easy access to the hull for storage. A generous rear tankwell will also take plenty of gear or a storage crate for when you need to load up with gear. There is also plenty of room in the bow hatch - you can certainly load up the Revo 16 for a multi-day camping/fishing trip.

The Hobie Revolution 16 comes with the Hobie Mirage Drive 180 System, Vantage CT seat, fibreglass paddle, twist-n-stow rudder system, Twist-Lock hatches, Sail Mount and more!! It can be fitted with an optional sailing kit and has a moulded-in slot in the hull for an optional daggerboard is to improve upwind performance by preventing the boat from slipping sideways in the water whilst at sail.
