The clue is in the name: The Enigma Journey 164 is ready to carry both people and gear on your next adventure wherever that journey might take you - across the Great Glen or round the winding river on your doorstep with three excited children and a picnic! The length and width of the Journey 164 along with its 400kg plus load capacity means not having to leave anything or anyone behind. The hull is stable and forgiving for those new to the sport but when loaded down for an expedition still surprisingly swift in capable hands. 

The shallow V hull shape and relatively flat rocker ensures the Journey 164 tracks well and is easy to paddle. The ideal craft for venturing out on rivers, large lakes and calm estuaries,  with 2 or more paddlers. At 46kg the Journey is solid and robust but still easily handled off the water with good quality canoe trolley for launching and portaging.

The construction is a triple layer polythene with a foam core and this will stand up to plenty of use over the years. The Enigma Canoes Journey 164 is available with either a wooden webbed seat or aluminium seat finish. Purists and those looking for the nicest aesthetics will likely favour the wooden webbed seats. However, the aluminium seats represent an extremely hard wearing solution that we would recommended for heavy use scenarios such as hire fleets and watersport centres. The robust construction and high capacity on the Journey 164 makes it a popular choice for commercial providers as well as recreational users.
