About Us - Canoe & Kayak Store in Newhaven

Brighton Canoes Ltd opened for business in 2004. The business quickly grew into the leading canoe & kayak store in the South East supplying a full range of paddlesport and Thule products throughout the South East, London and further afield. Brighton Canoes offers & stocks a huge range of kayaking, canoeing and water sport based products & equipment. Our friendly team of staff are all keen paddlers themselves and are always happy to offer helpful and unbiased advice.

Brighton Canoes Ltd and it's sister companies are independent, family owned businesses, totally separate from manufacturers and suppliers so that our product range remains the best available. Brighton Canoes is one of 7 businesses within the Canoe Shops UK group of companies.

Despite our name, our showroom is based in Newhaven a short distance east along the coast from Brighton in East Sussex. In 2012 the business relocated into bigger premises. The new space has allowed us to further improve the customer experience of shopping with Brighton Canoes with an increased product range & improved display. Customers are free to visit our store for advice and for a chance to try on or sit in products they may be considering purchasing. For those based too far away to visit us in person, we offer nationwide mail order service throughout the UK. From nose clips to open canoes we have sent items all over the world. We offer a huge product range which includes general purpose, white water, touring & sea kayaks as well as sit-on-tops, inflatables, open canoes & all required equipment & accessories.
