Paddling is great but sometimes you want your hands free for fishing or just a different way of propelling your kayak through the water. Enter the Impulse Drive Pedal system. This kit is the ideal upgrade for a Shearwater 125 or Makana and comes with all parts needed to convert your paddle to pedal!

The drive system is designed to slot into the hole left when the Versa Pod is removed and uses a powerful propeller driven by a standard cycling pedal motion to move the kayak both forward or backwards with ease. The steering is done by a hand operated rudder control which has an adjustment screw to enable it to be set on course and left so both hands are free for rod holding duties - never miss a strike again!
