Built for sea kayaking, coastal expeditions, kayak fishing, and extended touring, the latest Bora now features Seawastex® XP 4-layer fabric, Palm’s PFAS-free recycled performance fabric made from reclaimed marine nylon waste. This upgrade brings a major sustainability improvement while maintaining the rugged waterproof performance the Bora is known for.

Made from Seawastex® XP 4-layer recycled nylon, the Bora offers a waterproof rating of 30,000mm and breathability of 5,000 g/m²/24hr, delivering exceptional protection for prolonged exposure in rough weather and cold seas. The fabric has been engineered to match or exceed the durability of virgin nylon, with reinforced 320D abrasion panels at the elbows, seat, and knees for added resilience in high-wear areas. Palm’s articulated cut and no four-way seam construction improve mobility and durability, making the suit feel less restrictive over long distances.

Designed for expedition comfort, the Bora uses a GlideSkin neoprene neck seal paired with a fleece-lined quarter-zip outer collar, offering a more comfortable alternative to latex for long days on the water while still delivering dependable dryness. Latex wrist gaskets with adjustable cuffs provide a secure seal, while premium YKK AquaSeal® shoulder-entry and relief zips ensure reliable waterproof performance and easier access. The zip-off, volume-adjustable storm hood provides vital protection in wind and spray and can be removed when conditions improve. Fleece-lined handwarmer pockets and AquaGuard chest pockets add practicality and comfort, while XP 4-layer socks with reinforced soles keep feet dry through long expeditions.
