The Swift Canoes Adjustable Carbon Footbar Kit is a lightweight, fully adjustable footbar system designed to improve paddling position, control and efficiency in composite open canoes. The footbar uses a telescopic carbon-fibre design that can be adjusted to suit different paddlers and installation positions. The bar extends from 65 cm to 110 cm, while the mounting runners provide approximately 40 cm of adjustment. Pre-drilled holes allow the footbar position to be changed in 1-inch increments, making it straightforward to find the ideal position for your leg length and paddling style. The carbon footbar is secured into side-mounted carbon runners using removable securing pins. This provides a secure connection while allowing the footbar to be repositioned or removed when required.
