If you are going on any long trip and want to maximise passenger space in your car then the Arcos Cargo Carrier is an ideal choice. The Hardshell Cargo Box is designed to sit on the tow bar mounted Arcos Platform tucked away low down in your car’s slipstream for minimum impact on fuel economy or EV range. The low position does not restrict access to the boot or hatchback opening, it also makes loading easy and leaves your roof free for cycle or kayak carriers etc.
It is a great place to store any gear that would otherwise bring water, sand or mud into your car interior be that a push chair, wellies, beach gear, hunting / fishing equipment or general outerwear etc.
The Thule Arcos Platform is the base section required for use with the Arcos Cargo Box. This tow bar mounted platform is easy to use and can be installed by one person on to your vehicle's Tow Ball using the side mounted lockable lever lock style arm to secure to the Tow Ball. This means even with the Thule Arcos Cargo Box fitted you can still easily secure and remove from your vehicle.
