These heavy duty 40cm uprights copme in two variants for either a T-Track (such as the Thule Wingbar) or standard square bars. Uprights allow you to carry two kayaks or sit on tops on your car/van.

Most cars do not have a wide enough roofbar for two kayaks to be placed side-by-side, especially Sit-on-Top style kayaks, which tend to be wider than traditional kayaks. In these situations an upright is needed to strap the kayaks on their edge.

A simple folding mechanism allows the uprights to be folded down when not in use for less windage and height reduction. (This is particularly useful if your local car parks have height barriers).

The Eckla 40cm folding upright (T-Slot) has been designed for roofbars with a T-Track slot such as the Thule Wingbar where the upright simply slides into the bar before being locked in place with two bolts.

If you have standard roofbars without an accessory slot then please select the Clamp option, which fastens around the roofbar.

Note: If you are loading kayaks onto standard plastic coated bars, we recommended fitting roof bar pads for extra grip and padding. (T Track bars have a rubber strip that does this without additional padding)
