All the performance of the Hobie Mirage Drive system in a compact kayak at a very affordable price. Perfect for getting out on the water Hobie-style for cruising and a spot of fishing in calm waters. The thermoformed plastic hull has been designed to be both stable, easily driven and manoeuvrable with the manually deployed kick up rudder controlled by a hand lever. The Mirage Drive is the GT version with Kick Up Fins which means not worrying what lurks beneath the surface as the fins simply kick up and back down if you hit an object under the water.

Equipped with a simple yet comfortable framed mesh seat which can be removed and used as a beach chair. There is still the signature Twist’n’Seal hatch for storage below deck and two flush mounted rod holders in the stern. Even occasional anglers need plenty of accessories, so there are gear tracks mounted either side for those times when a fish finder or extra rod-holder is needed. There is also a vertical mount on the bow which will fit the Hobie Sail Kit, Bimini or a rod holder.

Plenty of deck space means dry bags and crates can be slid under the useful bungee storage in both the bow and the stern. Of course there are handles on the side and toggles on the front and back to help you get down to the water (though as with most kayaks, a trolley really takes the strain off).

A two-piece paddle is included to complete what is a compact recreational Hobie at a great price.
