Nova Craft Prospector 15 TuffStuff
The Prospector 15 is a lightweight scaled-down version of Nova Crafts larger Prospectors that remains faithful to the original lines in every way. You get the great handling features that make the Prospector a paddling legend, in a package that's a bit smaller and more responsive.
The Prospector has a symmetrical hull with a soft tumblehome providing great all round performance. It offers a perfect blend of stability whilst still retaining its ability to edge for manoeuvrability and tracking. This compact 15ft version of the Prospector is the ideal choice for those looking for a more compact all-round canoe that is at home on both flat and moving water.
TuffStuff - A cutting edge composite made of basalt and Innegra fibres. Basalt fibre is made of melted basalt rock and Innegra is a fibre consisting mostly of polypropylene. When they are woven together into a cloth and infused with high impact vinylester resin, the result is simply amazing! TuffStuff canoes are a great choice for paddlers looking for a lightweight canoe (11.3kg lighter than SP3) with more than enough strength to handle plenty of thorough use.
TuffStuff EXP - A robust heavier duty version of the standard TuffStuff construction. These canoes are an excellent choice for an expedition grade canoe for extended trips and occasional lower-grade whitewater use. Stiff for great performance, incredible impact resistance and lightweight all in one canoe.
