The Passport 12.0 is the entry-level fishing kayak model offered by Hobie. You will find all the essential features that makes a Hobie Kayak so great, on a more basic hull outfitting to keep the cost more affordable. A great option for those wanting their first pedal drive fishing kayak. The Passport 12.0 features a very stable hull design that will suit those wanting to fish on calmer inshore waters as well as lakes and lochs.

Whilst more basic on features, the Hobie Passport 12.0 has been built from the ground up to perform on the water just like a fully-featured Hobie Kayak. Complete with the Mirage Drive GT system, you can get to your fishing marks with ease so that you can explore further and make the most of your day on the water. The drive features the latest Kick-Up fins that will flip up out the way if they hit something underwater, meaning less breakages and less hassle! The drive system features Glide Technology (GT) with roller bearings on pivot points for smoother operation and reduced wear. Steering is taking care of by a manually deployed kick up rudder with handle by the seat.

A Hobie wouldn’t be a Hobie without a comfortable seat and the Passport has a deckchair style reclining chair which can of course be removed and used on the beach when it's time to relax. There is also the Twist ‘n’ Seal hatch for below deck storage and the large cargo area at the back of the Passport will carry your catch bag or gear crate.

Fisherman are catered for with two flush mount rod holders in the stern, two gear tracks either side of the seat for easy accessorising, plus bungee cords for tackle boxes and a central vertical mount in the bow which can take another rod holder or even a sail kit.  A transducer recess is found beneath the kayak for easier fish finder installation. There is a full complement of grab handles and a paddle holder (complete with paddle).
